WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

I have been painting since I was at school (Douglas Ewart High School in Newton Stewart in South West Scotland), more years ago than I care to think about, having been inspired by my art teachers Jack Maltman and Charles Manners. After leaving school I moved to London where other interests pushed painting to the back burner until around twenty years ago when my interest was reignited when I moved to Kirkcudbright, 'The Artists' Town'  in 1999.

Since moving here I have had a number of exhibitions and have sold over a hundred paintings which have ended up all over the world. Two of my belted Galloway paintings were purchased by the Duchess of Northumberland and HRH Princess Alexandria, who is Patron of 'The Belted Galloway Society, also owns one.

I recently exhibited at the Parallax Art Fair in London's Chelsea Old Town Hall.

We have now moved away from Kirkcudbright to Carnforth and as a result I am currently not painting very much.

THE PAINTINGS ARE SPLIT INTO SEPARATE GALLERIES
